I. Types of industrial dust collectors suitable for cement plants:
1. Bag dust collector
- Bag dust collectors are widely used in cement plants. It can efficiently remove various dusts generated during cement production and has an excellent collection effect on fine dust. The dust removal efficiency can usually reach more than 99%. It has strong adaptability and can handle dusts of different properties, including dusty gases with high concentration, high temperature, and high humidity. The structure is relatively simple, the operation is stable and reliable, and the maintenance cost is moderate. It is suitable for all links of cement plants such as raw material crushing, grinding, firing, and packaging.
2. Electrostatic dust collector
- Electrostatic dust collectors are suitable for handling large-flow dusty gases. They have high dust removal efficiency, low resistance, and low energy consumption. They are more applicable to high-temperature and high-concentration dust emission links such as the kiln head and kiln tail of large cement plants. It has a high degree of automation and is convenient for operation and management.
3. Cyclone dust collector
- Cyclone dust collectors are usually used in combination with other types of dust collectors as pre-dust collectors. It has a simple structure, low cost, no moving parts, convenient maintenance, can handle high-temperature dusty gases, and can remove larger particles of dust to reduce the load of subsequent dust collectors.
II. Materials of filter bags in bag dust collectors of cement plants:
1. Glass fiber filter bag material
- Advantages: Good high-temperature resistance and can be used for a long time at a temperature of about 260°C. Corrosion-resistant, high strength, and relatively low price.
- Disadvantages: Poor abrasion resistance and not suitable for use in high-abrasion environments.
2. PPS (polyphenylene sulfide) filter bag material
- Advantages: It has good acid and alkali corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance and can operate stably for a long time at a temperature below 190°C. High filtration efficiency and low resistance.
- Disadvantages: It is relatively sensitive to certain chemical components in flue gas. For example, excessive oxygen content may lead to a decrease in filter material performance.
3. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) filter bag material
- Advantages: Extremely strong chemical stability, excellent corrosion resistance, and high temperature resistance up to more than 260°C. The surface is smooth, not easy to adhere to dust, and has a good dust cleaning effect.
- Disadvantages: The price is relatively high.
4. Aramid filter bag material
- Advantages: Good high-temperature resistance and can be used for a long time at about 200°C. High strength and good abrasion resistance.
- Disadvantages: Relatively poor hydrolysis resistance.
When choosing the filter bag material, comprehensive consideration should be given according to the specific working conditions of the cement plant, such as temperature, humidity, corrosiveness, dust characteristics and other factors to ensure the service life and dust removal effect of the filter bag.
